FanVerdicts is a multi-sport fan engagement platform where every move in professional sports is graded by data-driven analysis and fan consensus. We believe fans deserve a voice in evaluating the decisions that shape their teams.
How It Works
Every professional sports transaction — signings, trades, cuts, extensions, and draft picks — is tracked and graded using three independent systems:
Sentiment Grade
Analysis of media coverage and fan discussion from news sources and social platforms. Measures the public reaction to each move.
CVI Grade
Contract Value Index — a proprietary formula that evaluates whether a team is getting good value based on player performance, age, and contract terms.
Fan Verdict
Direct fan voting on every transaction. Your grade matters — fan sentiment is tracked and displayed alongside algorithmic analysis.
Our Methodology
Our grading system is built on empirical research analyzing thousands of NFL player-seasons. Every benchmark, weight, and parameter is derived from real data — not subjective opinions. The CVI formula uses position-specific age curves, contract duration discounts, and availability adjustments calibrated from historical NFL performance data.
Multi-Sport Vision
FanVerdicts is expanding beyond the NFL. We are building grading systems for the NBA, MLB, NHL, and more — each with sport-specific research and calibration. Our goal is to be the definitive platform where fans across all sports can evaluate and discuss every roster move.
